Let G control your computer

For installs, settings and bigger fixes, G can use Chrome Remote Desktop, a free and secure tool from Google. You approve the connection, you can see everything G does, and you can stop it at any time.

1. Open remotedesktop.google.com/support in Google Chrome.
2. Under Get Support, click the download button and install the small helper. On a Mac, allow Screen Recording and Accessibility when asked.
3. Click Generate Code and read the 12-digit code to G. It only works once.
4. When a box shows G's email, click Share. That's your approval.
5. To end it, click Stop Sharing. Uninstall the helper afterward if you like.

Share your screen on FaceTime

iPhones and iPads can't share their screen from a website, so we use FaceTime. G will call you at your scheduled time.

1. Answer G's FaceTime call.
2. Tap the Share button at the top of the call, then Share My Screen. After a 3-second countdown, G can see your screen.
3. If G needs to tap for you, G will send a request. Tap Allow only if you want to. This works when you're both on iOS 18 or newer, iPhone to iPhone or iPad to iPad, and G must be in your contacts. Your own taps always come first.
4. To stop, tap the screen-sharing icon at the top and tap it again to end, or just hang up.

No FaceTime? G will text you a Zoom link instead. Install the free Zoom app, join, then tap Share → Screen.

Share with Google Meet

1. G will text you a Google Meet link. Tap it and join, installing the Meet app if asked.
2. Tap ⋯ More, then Share screen, then Start now.
3. G will walk you through each tap while watching. To stop, tap Stop sharing or leave the call.
